it is a sturdy lift system with little that can break. Over the past years we have installed the lift hundreds of times and only encountered a defect twice. The defect was also easy to fix. Not for nothing do we offer a 2-year warranty on the lift for our standard cabinets and 5 years for our premium cabinets.
It is a quiet lift — you can hear it in operation, but it is not disturbing.
The advantage is that you do not need to hold a button down — pressing '2' moves the lift up to the ideal height, and pressing '1' brings it back down.
The lift we install as standard moves up and down. There is (currently) no option for a rotating head to mount the TV on.
