We bought our first house! Like many people setting up a home, we struggled enormously with the layout. The last thing we wanted was to give the TV screen a prominent place in the living room, while it's only on a few hours a day.

The idea for a TV lift cabinet was born, but we couldn't find any furniture on the market that matched our wishes. We preferred a solid wood, stylish piece of furniture that fit our budget.

Aha, a gap in the market! 😀 We bought a vintage piece of furniture and converted it into a TV lift

We spent the autumn and winter building a collection of vintage and antique furniture that we converted into TV lift cabinets. We involved the best carpenter, sandblaster, and furniture spray painter to add value to old furniture.

In the spring of 2022, we made our kitchen table project official. We rented a room in an old school building for our storage and showroom, and had our first professional photo shoot. Meanwhile, we worked hard on our online visibility.

By autumn 2022, our school classroom turned out to be too small again. We simply couldn't store enough furniture there, and the workspace for installing the lifts was too cramped. Fortunately, we quickly found a large warehouse where we had enough space for storage and work.

Until the summer of 2023, we only renovated old furniture and occasionally did a custom job with new materials. Still, we started to feel the urge to produce new furniture too — we received a lot of questions about it. During a vacation in Roermond, we sketched the first versions of the new line!

In November we launched the new furniture line. After making prototypes and professional product photography and videos, we were able to start selling.

Although we deliver furniture from Leeuwarden to Maastricht, we noticed there was a need for a showroom location closer to the Randstad. In February 2024 we therefore moved into a space at De Woonindustrie where we can receive interested customers by appointment and all our "new" furniture can be viewed.

In addition to renovating vintage and antique furniture and our premium custom furniture, we wanted to also develop a DIY TV lift cabinet. This way, a TV lift cabinet would be accessible to a larger group of people. We developed and launched two types of furniture in 2025: the tv lift box and tv lift cabinet.

The Oss location also started to feel like a jacket that was too small, one we couldn't really grow into. Philippe discovered a beautiful and suitable property at the Noordkade in Veghel and we took the leap to combine everything under one roof: showroom, office, workshop, and warehouse. This also meant the end of our participation at the Woonindustrie in Nieuwegein.
